International Advanced Levels

International Advanced Levels

The Advanced Level (A level) qualification is a pre-university exam based course that is accepted globally for university entrance.

The international version, known as the International A Level (IAL), typically spans 2 years, from Grade 11 to Grade 12. Students usually take 3 to 4 subjects, allowing them to focus on areas of strength and interest.

Pearson Edexcel International AS/A Levels (IAL) offer a flexible, modular approach. Students can take exams at the end of each unit of study, throughout the programme when they feel ready, or all at once at the end of the course. With exam series available in January, June, and October, students have multiple opportunities to improve their performance and achieve the grades needed for university admission.

Pearson Edexcel qualifications undergo a rigorous world-class assessment process. This ensures that the content is relevant for international students and that there is consistency in the relationship between command words, marks, and skills. The logical progression of difficulty in question papers offers clear challenges and support for students of all abilities.
